Croatian for foreign workers: level A1.1
Certificate for extending your residence and work permit
Centar za obrazovanje odraslih PRAMAC runs Croatian language courses for foreign nationals to gain a basic knowledge of Croatian and prepare for the A1.1 level exam.
An exam and a diploma at the end of each module, plus the A1.1 certificate.
Who the course is for
For adults and children whose mother tongue is not Croatian: workers, students, families who have moved here and anyone who wants to understand the people around them.
Lessons are taught in English, so understanding English is a prerequisite for enrolling in the course.
What you will learn
From the first lesson we learn the Croatian you need every day: introducing yourself, talking at work, shopping, making a doctor's appointment, filling in a form. At higher levels we work on confident speaking and writing.
Levels and pace
We offer levels A1/A2, B1/B2 and C1/C2, as regular or intensive courses. We form groups by prior knowledge, so you learn with people at the same level. Lessons are mostly in the evening, after work.
Enrolment
Enrolment is in August and September for the winter semester and in January and February for the spring semester. If you need to start at another time, get in touch and we will check whether a group has a free place.
